D. Mark Jackson

D. Mark Jackson is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in the legal field. Currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since July 2021, Jackson previously held the position of Equity Partner and Senior Associate at Bassi Edlin Huie & Blum from January 2005 to July 2021. Earlier in the career, Jackson completed a Judicial Clerkship at the U.S. Department of Labor, where assistance was provided to Honorable Paul Mapes and Chief Judge Daniel Sarno in preparing for hearings and drafting opinions. Additionally, Jackson contributed significant legal work as a Legal Intern at the Peninsula Legal Aid Center, focusing on support for low-income and senior citizen populations. D.
