Joyeeta Biswas

Joyeeta Biswas is a Strategic Communications Specialist at the California Department of Justice since September 2022, responsible for writing both original and legislatively mandated publications, creating content for diverse audiences, and supporting rapid-response communication on research products. Previously, Joyeeta served as a Press Secretary, conducting media outreach and organizing press events. Joyeeta's background includes experience as a Digital and Video Producer at ABC30, where original news stories and videos were produced, and as a Multimedia Reporter at ABC News, focusing on breaking news. Joyeeta also worked as a Senior Content Producer at Hindustan Times and as a Subeditor at The Indian Express. Joyeeta holds a Master of Science in Journalism from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and a B.A. Honours in English from Delhi University.
