Mana Barari

Mana Barari is a seasoned attorney specializing in employment law with significant experience in wage and hour class actions, as well as individual discrimination and retaliation cases across California. Currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since August 2019, Mana has previously held key legal positions, including Attorney at Legal Aid at Work and Senior Regional Advocate for Vulnerable Workers at Micronesian Legal Services Corporation. Early career highlights include founding the San Francisco office of ORAM and contributing to civil rights advocacy for the Iranian-American community at Pars Equality Center. Mana Barari obtained a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on International Human Rights from the University of California, Berkeley.
