Nikhil Cooper

Nikhil Cooper is a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, a position held since April 2010. Previously, Nikhil served as a Deputy City Attorney for the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney from September 2009 to February 2010, and held law clerk positions at both the California Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Justice in 2008 and 2007, respectively. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), earned from 2006 to 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2005.
