Khalida Fazel

Khalida Fazel, PE, serves as a Senior Water Resources Engineer at the California Department of Water Resources since November 2014, having previously held the role of Water Resources Engineer there. Prior experience includes a position as Project Engineer at GEI Consultants, Inc., where Khalida worked on water supply forecasting for California's major watersheds and conducted modeling training courses. Earlier, Khalida was an Engineering Technician at the US Army Corps of Engineers, contributing to the development of hydrologic models and testing water resources simulation software. Early career experience includes student assistant positions at the California Department of Water Resources' Division of Dam Safety and the State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Water Quality. Khalida Fazel holds a Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
