Laura Flournoy

Laura Flournoy is an experienced environmental professional with a focus on water resources and fisheries management. Currently serving as an Environmental Program Manager I at the California Department of Water Resources since March 2005, Laura has been involved in environmental compliance tracking and management programs, specifically related to the Delta Fish Agreement. Prior experience includes a role as an Environmental Scientist at the California State Water Resources Control Board, where Laura contributed to Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and the Clean Water Act. Laura began a career as a Fisheries Biologist at Stolt Sea Farm, specializing in aquaculture. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Studies and Fisheries from Maine Maritime Academy and a strong academic background in science from Killingly High School.
