Benjamin Leacock, MD, FACEP, FAAEM has a diverse range of work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Benjamin is currently serving as the Medical Director - Emergency Services at Vituity since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Medical Director at SSM St. Mary's Hospital, where they worked from March 2020 to August 2021.

In terms of their education, Dr. Leacock obtained their residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they completed their Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine from May 2009 to June 2010. Benjamin also served as an Emergency Medicine Resident at the university from June 2007 to June 2010.

Benjamin Leacock, MD, FACEP, FAAEM completed their MD at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2007. Benjamin then pursued their Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2007 to 2010. Benjamin obtained certifications such as Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2021, and became a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2014. In 2011, they obtained board certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM).
