Vice President, Community Impact & Social Responsibility at CALIFORNIA EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS

Javay Walton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career at Academy of Art University, where they worked as a Prospective Student Services Coordinator from July 2003 to April 2006. In this role, Javay provided admissions support to prospective students, maintained student contact information, and served as a backup supervisor.

In 2006, Javay joined Vituity and held various positions within the company. They started as an HR Assistant, providing administrative support to the HR team and assisting the Chief HR Officer and HR Manager. From October 2006 to January 2008, Javay worked as an HR Administrator, handling employee complaints, coordinating HR projects, and participating in system conversion.

From January 2008 to August 2011, Javay took on the role of an HR Analyst/HRIS Specialist. They supported the design and maintenance of the Lawson HRIS database, collaborated with various departments to resolve system issues, and participated in system testing. Following this, Javay worked as a Corporate Recruiter/HR Generalist from August 2011 to January 2014. They performed full-cycle recruiting duties, sourced candidates through multiple channels, and partnered with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.

From January 2014 to March 2021, Javay served as the Manager of Corporate Talent Acquisition at Vituity. They defined strategic tactics for talent acquisition, provided organizational design support, and managed and mentored the Corporate Talent Acquisition team. In March 2021, Javay transitioned to the role of Senior Manager of Diversity Equity & Inclusion | Corporate Recruiting, where they focused on promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization.

Javay's commitment to diversity and inclusion led them to become the Vice President of Diversity Equity & Inclusion in March 2022 at Vituity. In this position, they played a critical role in shaping the company's diversity and inclusion initiatives. Javay's expertise in diversity and inclusion led to their promotion as the Vice President of Community Impact & Social Responsibility in January 2024.

Javay Walton, CDP, holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR from San Jose State University. In 2020, Javay obtained a certification as a Certified Diversity Professional from the National Diversity Council.
