Shane Hofeling

Shane Hofeling is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in tax law, currently serving as Deputy Chief Counsel at the California Franchise Tax Board since January 2003. Shane has held various titles within the organization, including Assistant Chief Counsel for both the Technical Resources Bureau and Litigation Bureau, as well as Tax Attorney. Prior to joining the California Franchise Tax Board, Shane worked as an Accountant at Deseret First Credit Union from May 1997 to August 1999. Shane holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and has both a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
