Dan Rinzler

Associate Research Director at California Housing Partnership

Dan Rinzler has worked in various roles within the housing and community development field. Dan began their career as a CEDA Housing Development Specialist at the City of Oakland in 2010. In 2011, they became a Research Assistant at MIT, where they worked until 2013. From 2012 to 2013, Dan worked as a Housing Mobility Program Designer at the MA Department of Housing and Community Development. Dan then joined the California Housing Partnership Corporation as a Sustainable Affordable Housing Associate in 2012. In 2013, Dan transitioned to the Low Income Investment Fund, where they served as Manager of Special Projects and Initiatives until 2016. Currently, Dan holds the position of Senior Policy Analyst at the California Housing Partnership Corporation, which they have been in since September 2016. Additionally, they recently took on the role of Associate Research Director at the same organization in April 2022.

Dan Rinzler completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Columbia University from 2003 to 2007. Dan then pursued a Master in City Planning degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying from 2011 to 2013.
