Scott Erwin

Scott Erwin is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Lead Operations Implementation Specialist and Lead Transmission Security Operator at California ISO since November 2021. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Senior Operations Support at Nawah Energy Company from March 2020 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing a substantial operations budget and coordinating testing efforts. From January 2017 to March 2020, Scott worked as a Senior Reliability Specialist with the Western Electricity Coordinating Council, overseeing the reliability of the Western Interconnection. Previous roles include Transmission Dispatcher at Southern California Edison and Transmission System Operator at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, as well as various positions in nuclear operations. Scott Erwin holds a Master’s of Legal Studies in Energy and Natural Resource Law from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, complemented by a Project Management Certificate from UC Irvine.
