Jocelyn Chapman

Chair, Transformative Inquiry Department at California Institute of Integral Studies

Jocelyn Chapman, PhD, serves as the Chair and Director of the Transformative Inquiry Department at the California Institute of Integral Studies since August 2017, overseeing departmental administration, strategic programming, budget development, and faculty recruitment and evaluation. In addition to administrative roles, Jocelyn teaches courses on Transformative Leadership and Ways of Knowing at CIIS and holds positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where contributions to the Creative Systemic Studies online doctoral program occur. Previous experience includes teaching at Santa Rosa Junior College and serving as a Course Instructor for the International Society for the Systems Sciences. Jocelyn earned a PhD in Transformative Studies and an MA in Transformative Leadership from the California Institute of Integral Studies, alongside other academic qualifications in Computer Science and Environmental Education from Sonoma State University.
