Gonzalo Ayala

Gonzalo Ayala is currently serving as Chief Chemist Supervisor at TotalEnergies, where responsibilities include supervising personnel in the Refinery QC Laboratory. Previously, Gonzalo held roles such as Laboratory Manager at Evonik and Bakersfield Renewable Fuels, focusing on laboratory transitions and renewable diesel testing, respectively. Gonzalo's extensive experience at Chevron involved various managerial positions, emphasizing laboratory supervision, quality management systems, and systematic improvements over nearly a decade. Additionally, experience includes earlier positions at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company and SI Group, where Gonzalo developed expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and staff oversight. Gonzalo holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Houston-Downtown.
