Douglas Goodwin is an experienced educator and developer, currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Scripps College while also holding the title of Fletcher Jones Foundation Scholar in Computation. Concurrently, Goodwin is a Lead Developer for Communications Web & Mobile at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, focusing on strategic data sharing and the development of a comprehensive developer website. Goodwin's academic involvement extends to teaching at the California Institute of the Arts and previously at several prestigious institutions, including Massachusetts College of Art and Emerson College. With a rich background in both filmmaking and web development, Goodwin has held significant roles in organizations such as Ambulante Documentary Film Festival and eCollege.com. Goodwin holds an MFA in Experimental Writing and Integrated Media from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from Reed College.
