Treka Spraggins

Treka Spraggins is an accomplished educator and mentor with extensive experience in academic support and counseling. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at California Intercontinental University since January 2020, Treka facilitates online courses to promote student success. Involvement with the American Association of University Women since 2009 demonstrates a commitment to empowering women and young adults through local initiatives. Prior roles include Academic Mentor for student-athletes at North Carolina State University, Associate Faculty at the University of Phoenix, and School Counselor in the Wake County Public School system. Treka's background also encompasses positions with the U.S. Department of Education and Wake County Human Services, focusing on family support and child welfare. Treka holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts in Education from The College of New Jersey, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Seton Hall University.
