Danny Caron is an accomplished guitarist and music educator with extensive experience in the music industry. As the owner of Danny Caron Music, Caron has been actively involved in music since 1966, holding various roles, including guitarist for Tom Rigney and Flambeau since January 1999, and guitar instructor at The Jazzschool since January 1995. Caron has also served as a guitarist and music director for renowned artists such as Charles Brown from January 1987 to January 2000, Clifton Chenier from March 1981 to March 1982, and Marcia Ball from March 1980 to March 1981. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English/Music from Oberlin College (1973-1977) and a guitar certificate from Musicians Institute (1978-1979).

The California Jazz Conservatory is a private music school in Berkeley, California. It is the only independent music conservatory in the United States devoted solely to jazz and related styles of music. Located in the Downtown Berkeley Arts District, the CJC offers Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Studies. The Conservatory also offers community education classes and workshops for instrumentalists and vocalists and precollege youth programs for beginning, intermediate and advanced musicians.
