Christina Sanchez currently serves as the Associate Provost for Global Engagement at California Lutheran University, a position held since November 2018, where responsibilities include establishing the Center for Global Engagement and overseeing comprehensive internationalization efforts. Prior to this role, Christina was the Associate Director for the Office of International Programs at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where duties included implementing the campus's internationalization strategy. Christina's experience also encompasses serving as Assistant Vice President for University Life and Director of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of San Francisco, where oversight included various student services and international initiatives. In earlier roles, Christina coordinated Jardine Apartments at Kansas State University. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Intercultural Communication from The University of New Mexico, an MA in College Student Personnel Administration/Counseling from James Madison University, and a BA in English and Psychology from William & Mary.
