Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Clerical Fees Specialist for a 3-6 month contract to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a clerical fees project, focusing on submitting Secondary Bill Reviews (SBR’s) and appeals to insurance carriers for denied payments. Key responsibilities include filling out SBR forms, drafting objection letters, fathering necessary documents for submission, following up on appeals, and maintaining an up-to-date SBR spreadsheet.
Schedule/Work setting:
On-site
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Submit SBR/appeals to insurance carriers for all denied clerical fees.
Complete SBR forms and draft objection letters.
Gather and organize necessary documents for submission.
Follow-up on submitted appeals and maintain thorough documentation.
Keep the SBR spreadsheet updated and accurate.
