Lucero Robles has extensive experience in the mental health field, having worked in various positions at the Monterey County Health Department and the County of Monterey Behavioral Health. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance and Compliance Director at California Mental Health Services Authority, Lucero previously held the role of Acting Behavioral Health Director at the County of Monterey Behavioral Health. Prior to this, Lucero served as the Deputy Director Behavioral Health at the Monterey County Health Department.

The California Mental Health Services Authority is a Joint Powers of Authority formed in 2009 by counties throughout the state to work on collaborative, multi-county projects that improve behavioral health care for all Californians. By pooling resources, forging partnerships, and leveraging technical expertise, CalMHSA supports county behavioral health departments in the vital care they’re called on to deliver. Areas of emphasis include workforce solutions, quality improvement and data outcomes, prevention and early intervention strategies, administration and finance, innovation, or health information technology.
