Lily Wang

Lily Wang is a Research Assistant at California Northstate University, where wet-lab research is conducted under the guidance of Dr. Yihui Shi, focusing on techniques such as western blotting, PCR, cytotoxicity, and CTG cell viability assays. Additionally, Lily serves as the Co-Principal Violist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, having performed Mahler’s Titan during a European tour. Previous experience includes an independent study at Genentech on drug development and biostatistics, guided by Dr. Jochen Brumm, where skills in risk management and statistical analysis were developed. An internship at Stanford University School of Medicine involved designing patient-centered healthcare solutions, showcasing a commitment to innovative healthcare pathways. Education includes ongoing studies at the University of California, Berkeley, following a high school diploma from Crystal Springs Uplands School.
