Miranda Stiers has extensive experience in domestic violence prevention and support services, currently serving as the Associate Director of Prevention Strategies at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence since June 2016. Prior roles include Prevention Program Manager and Project Specialist at the same organization. Stiers previously worked at the Haven Women's Center of Stanislaus from April 2003 to June 2016, where responsibilities included managing the Behavioral Health Services Domestic Violence program, overseeing the Rape Prevention Education department, serving as the BHS Domestic Violence Coordinator, and providing legal advocacy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
California Partnership to End Domestic Violence
The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) is California’s recognized domestic violence coalition, representing over 1,000 advocates, organizations and allied individuals across the state. Working at the local, state and national levels for nearly 40 years, the Partnership has a long track record of successfully passing over 200 pieces of legislation on behalf of domestic violence victims and their children. The Partnership believes that by sharing expertise, advocates and legislators can end domestic violence.
