California Policy Lab
Huizhi Gong is a research associate at California Policy Lab, focusing on social safety net and education policy research since September 2023. Previously, Gong served as a research fellow at Edunomics Lab at Georgetown University from January 2021 to August 2023, where contributions included the creation of a National Education Resources Database and development of visualizations on school spending and outcomes. Other roles include research assistant for professor Sebastian Jilke at Georgetown University, research intern at Precision Agriculture for Development, and various analytical positions in data management and financial analysis. Huizhi Gong holds a Master of Science in Data Science for Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree in finance and mathematics from Northeastern University, complemented by studies in computer science and a strong foundation in social entrepreneurship and international relations.
