Alex Jawharjian Pharmd, Mph, Mba, Fache

Alex Jawharjian, PharmD, MPH, MBA, FACHE has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Alex initially served as a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they were involved in providing state-of-the-art patient care and supporting innovative research. Later, they worked as a Pharmacy Supervisor at the Ventura County Health Care Agency, where they focused on providing access to healthcare for underserved populations. Alex also held the position of Director of Pharmacy at Barlow Respiratory Hospital, specializing in ventilator weaning and respiratory care. Moreover, they served as an Adjunct Professor Clinical Pharmacy at the USC School of Pharmacy, actively involved in advancing the field of pharmacy education and research. Additionally, Alex had an executive role as an ACOTE Member at AOTA, contributing to the accreditation of occupational therapy education. Alex also served on the Executive Board of the Armenian American Medical Society, organizing events and providing continuing education to healthcare practitioners. Most recently, Alex worked as the Chief Operating Officer of the California Rehabilitation Institute, where they played a crucial role in the establishment of the hospital and the provision of patient-centered care.

Alex Jawharjian completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at UCLA from 1994 to 1999. Alex then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health from 1999 to 2002. After that, they attended USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences where they earned their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from 2002 to 2006. Finally, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University, Los Angeles - College of Business and Economics between 2014 and 2016.
