Olufemi Gonsalves is an accomplished educator and musician with extensive experience in diverse roles within the field of music and academia. Currently serving as a Professor at Long Beach City College, Gonsalves specializes in Contemporary Vocal Styles and Songwriting since August 2022. Additionally, Gonsalves functions as a Teaching Assistant at Fuller Theological Seminary and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley and a Songwriting and Jazz Vocals Professor at Citrus College. A prolific singer-songwriter since 1989, Gonsalves has performed with notable artists such as Sergio Mendes and Engelbert Humperdinck. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Theology, multiple degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Bachelor's in Commercial Arranging from Berklee College of Music, and a Master's in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University.
