Currently serving as a CxO Advisor at Island and an Adjunct Professor of AI at California Science and Technology University, Laiq cultivates the next generation of innovators through immersive learning. Previous roles include SVP of Engineering and AI at Lumen Technologies, Chief Platform Strategy Officer at Change Healthcare, and Chief Technology Product Officer at Avellino Lab. With a strategic focus on AI and engineering excellence, Laiq has led large teams and transformative initiatives at notable organizations such as GE Digital, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, The World Bank, Pearson, and Pfizer. Laiq holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Liberal Arts from Harvard University and a Master's of Science in Computer Science from Boston University.
