Wickey Wang

Wickey Wang, CISA, Six Sigma Green Belt, currently serves as the Director of IT Security Audit at MeridianLink, focusing on IT Audit, Cybersecurity, and Emerging Tech Risk Identification within the SaaS and Fintech sectors. In addition to this role, Wickey is a part-time faculty member teaching a Cybersecurity class at California Science and Technology University and works as a Venture Capital Advisor, Mentor, Scout, and Angel Investor, specializing in early-stage investments in Cybersecurity, AI/Data Infrastructure, and Fintech. Notably, Wickey received the Best New Scout award in 2023 among a cohort of 94 scouts at Uphonest Capital and advises Sixty Degree Capital, a Growth VC fund emphasizing AI and Cybersecurity in North America. Previous experience includes a Senior Manager role at Visa, where Wickey optimized risk control matrices and refined audit processes, as well as extensive experience in various roles across firms such as EY and public companies since 2007. Wickey holds a Master's Degree in Information System Management from Brigham Young University and a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University.
