Jacinta Sutphin

Jacinta Sutphin is an experienced mental health professional and arts educator currently serving as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health since August 2020. Alongside this role, Jacinta has been a prominent member of Shotgun Players since February 2014, contributing as Front of House Staff, Assistant Stage Manager, and Accounting Associate. At California Shakespeare Theater since June 2013, Jacinta has taken on various roles including Teaching Artist, Artistic Learning Intern, and Artistic Learning Coordinator. As Assistant Director for the Youth Education Program at Bay Area Children's Theatre since August 2013, Jacinta supports artistic development in youth. Previously, Jacinta acted and directed for Dakota Players between August 2010 and January 2012, fostering creativity and storytelling in students across multiple states. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Holistic Counseling from John F. Kennedy University, where studies emphasized Expressive Arts, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdepartmental Studies (Theatre and Modern Foreign Languages) from Augustana University (SD).
