Chastity Benson

Chastity Benson serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the California State Association of Counties® and Chief Operations Officer for the California Counties Foundation since November 2016. Responsibilities encompass leadership for program and administrative functions, annual budget management, internal policy development, and oversight of various initiatives including the CSAC Institute. Previous roles include Director of Operations & Educational Programs and Operations Manager at the California Counties Foundation, where Chastity directed daily operations and developed educational programming, as well as Program Coordinator for the CSAC Institute. Prior experience also includes serving as Assistant to the Director at the California Department of Finance, providing executive support and serving as a liaison to key governmental stakeholders, and as Member Relations Coordinator for the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association, managing events and communications. Chastity began professional experience as an Executive Assistant at the Jane Addams Hull House Association. Education was completed at Jessup University.
