Adolfo Guzman-Lopez

Adolfo Guzman-Lopez is an experienced reporter at Southern California Public Radio since 2000, specializing in breaking news, transportation, education, municipal government, arts, and museums across the five-county Southern California region. Significant stories include investigations into political corruption in South Gate and the misuse of public funds in Inglewood Unified. Additionally, Adolfo serves as an adjunct professor at California State University, Long Beach, where a podcasting class is taught, utilizing extensive reporting and audio production expertise. Prior to these roles, Adolfo worked at KPBS as a producer and host for the daily news talk show "These Days." Adolfo holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from U.C. San Diego and a Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Redlands.
