Ethan Nguyen

Ethan Nguyen is an experienced undergraduate student researcher at California State University, Long Beach, under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Douglas Pace. Nguyen has served as a peer mentor at the Jensen SAS Center, tutoring students in various biology and chemistry courses, and has worked as an exhibition assistant for an immersive exhibit on Dendraster excentricus. In leadership roles with Associated Students, Inc., Nguyen has been vice chair of the Business and Finance Committee and senator at-large, contributing to multiple senate resolutions addressing academic policies and student resources. As assistant director of departments with COPE Health Scholars at Kaiser Permanente Irvine Hospital, Nguyen oversaw health scholars, developed training standards, and managed compliance. Previous experiences include shadowing anesthesiologists and pediatricians. Nguyen is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Chemistry at California State University, Long Beach, set to graduate in January 2025.
