Katie Burd

Katie Burd serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Financial and HR Operations at California State University, Long Beach since March 2022, following a tenure as Assistant Athletic Director for Financial Operations at the same institution. Previously, Katie held roles including Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations at the University at Buffalo, Director of Internal Operations at the University of Michigan, and Director of Championships & Special Events at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Throughout her career, Katie has overseen financial operations, developed budgets, improved efficiencies, and managed audits, while also having experience in event management and athletic camp administration. Katie holds an M.S. in Sports Administration and a B.S. in Finance, both from Canisius University.
