Mariah Proctor-Tiffany, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of Art History, currently serving as a Professor at California State University, Long Beach since 2013, with previous roles as Associate and Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior to this, Mariah held the position of Lecturer in the History of Art and Visual Culture at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2009 to 2013. Earlier in the career, Mariah worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from 1997 to 2002 in various roles including Copy Editor, Education Assistant, and Lecturer. Mariah earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the History of Art and Architecture from Brown University.
