Chandra Subramaniam currently serves as the Dean of the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge, since March 2018. Previously, Chandra held the position of Interim Dean at the College of Business at The University of Texas at Arlington from June 2016 to February 2018, and prior to that, Chandra served as the Associate Dean of Students and Programs at the same institution for over a decade, focusing on student-related issues. Chandra's academic journey includes notable roles such as Chair of the Department of Accounting, where oversight included more than 650 students and 19 faculty, and advancing the department to maintain AACSB accreditation. Chandra's teaching career includes positions at Texas Christian University and the University of Minnesota Duluth, along with experience in small business development and engineering at National Semiconductor. Chandra holds a PhD in Accounting from the UMN Carlson School of Management and has both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
