Estefany Ortega

Estefany Ortega is currently a Student Assistant at the Faculty Technology Center at California State University, Northridge, where assistance is provided with online-learning technology systems to faculty and staff. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Laboratory Assistant, ensuring proper use of lab equipment and training peers on the Laser Doppler Vibrometer, as well as holding positions within SHPE CSUN, such as Graduate Chair and Director of Student Affairs, where events promoting graduate programs and STEM engagement for young women were organized. Estefany has also contributed to the CSUN Career Center as a Student Caller and gained experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. Estefany is pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Northridge, following a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
