Gina Umeck

Gina Umeck serves as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at California State University, Northridge, since August 2013, following a tenure in the same role at the University at Albany, SUNY from August 2012 to July 2013. Umeck has a background as a professional golfer on the Duramed Futures Tour from January 2006 to January 2011 and has experience as a golf instructor at Aroma Golf Academy in Los Angeles from January 2005 to January 2008. At Aroma Golf Academy, Umeck provided golf lessons in both Korean and English, fostering connections within the Korean community for young players pursuing competitive opportunities in American golf. Umeck holds a B.A. in Spanish and Korean from UCLA, earned between 2000 and 2005.
