Heidi Schumacher

Heidi Schumacher currently serves as the Associate Dean of the College at Pomona College, overseeing programs aimed at enhancing student academic success since November 2024. With extensive experience at California State University, Northridge, Heidi has held various leadership roles, including Director of the CSUN English Intern Program and Director of the Center for Public Humanities. Additionally, Heidi has contributed to faculty development and community engagement initiatives while teaching in the Queer Studies, Gender & Women’s Studies, and English departments. Educational credentials include a PhD in Feminist Studies and multiple master's degrees from reputable institutions, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Gender & Women’s Studies and Psychology from Scripps College.
