Kim Henige

Kim Henige serves as the Director of Academic First Year Experiences and a Course Director at California State University, Northridge, where responsibilities include teaching various courses in movement forms, exercise physiology, and freshman success seminars. With teaching experience extending back to 1996 across several institutions, Kim has held positions as Lecturer at California State University, Los Angeles, and UCLA Extension, and as Instructional Laboratory Director at the University of Southern California. Additionally, roles as Wellness Director and Group Exercise Director at Sports Club Company showcase leadership in wellness initiatives. Kim holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education from California State University, Northridge, and is also an alumna of the HERS Leadership Institute in Philadelphia.
