Chet Madison Jr.

Chet Madison Jr. currently serves as the Chief of Police at California State University-Sacramento since September 2021. Prior to this role, Chet Madison Jr. held the position of Chief Deputy at the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office from March 1996 to September 2021. Chet Madison Jr. began their law enforcement career as a Police Officer with the Fresno Police Department, serving from February 1994 to September 1995. Chet Madison Jr. holds a Master's degree in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Chet Madison Jr. is a graduate of the FBI National Executive Institute, having completed Class #44 in Quantico, Virginia.
