Nicholas Kanozik is a multifaceted music professional with extensive experience in leadership, education, and artistic direction. Currently serving as the Music and Artistic Director at ARTogether and the "50 for the Future" Education Coordinator for the Kronos Quartet, Nicholas is also an active member of the Board of Directors for both the California Symphony and PURPLE SILK MUSIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION INC. Owner of Kanozik Sound Art since 2010, responsibilities include artistry and distribution as well as light organ design. Previous roles include Orchestra Director and Chair of the Instrumental Music Department at the Oakland School for the Arts, where oversight encompassed faculty management and curriculum development. A prior adjudicator for the United States Open Music Competition and coordinator of various music seminars, Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of North Texas, a Master's degree in Music Composition from Mills College, and a CTE Teaching Credential from the Orange County Department of Education.
