Sachin Gupta, MD, is currently employed at Genentech as the Senior Director Medical Affairs in the USMA Respiratory/Immunology department. Prior to this, Sachin worked at the California Thoracic Society and Alameda Health System in various roles related to medical affairs and clinical development. With a fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine from UT Southwestern Medical Center, Sachin has taken on responsibilities such as leading the Food Allergy launch team and serving as the ILD medical director. Additionally, Sachin is currently the Inspirations Newsletter Editorial Board member at CTS and an Attending Physician at Alameda Health System, specializing in outpatient Pulmonary Hypertension as the Clinical Lead.

Started in 1940, the California Thoracic Society (CTS) is a professional society committed in its mission to improve California lung health and, through advocacy and education, advance the science and practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine. CTS is the largest Chapter of the American Thoracic Society (ATS). CTS is officially recognized by the California Medical Association (CMA), and has direct representation on the CMA Scientific Committee on Chest Diseases, its Council on Legislation, and its governing body the House of Delegates.
