Heather Sklar

Heather Sklar is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching across multiple grade levels and subjects. Currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at California Virtual Academies since October 2018, Heather has previously held roles such as Education Specialist at NEXT GENERATION LEADERS, INC. and Science Teacher at Magnolia Science Academy 6, where a focus on hands-on learning and rich curricula was emphasized. Heather's experience also includes positions as Lead Teacher at Larchmont Charter School, Teacher at Apple Charter Academy, and Pre-Kindergarten/Preschool Teacher at Lycée International de Los Angeles. With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University, Heather is dedicated to creating engaging and effective learning environments tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
