Michael Luu has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the water service industry. Michael has held positions such as SVP, Corporate Services and Chief Risk Officer, Chief Risk Officer and VP, I.T., CIO & VP, Customer Service, VP, Information Technology and Customer Service, and Interim VP, I.T., Customer Service & Purchasing.

In these roles, they have been responsible for establishing enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance programs, leading COVID-19 response programs, developing and implementing I.T. strategies, managing software implementations, and overseeing customer service initiatives. Michael has also served on the board of directors for InfraGard SF Bay Area Members Alliance and the National Association of Water Companies.

Prior to their roles in the water service industry, Luu worked as a QC Analyst at 3 Com. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in managing teams, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Michael Luu obtained their MBA from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they hold additional certifications including Mergers and Acquisitions from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they obtained in July 2023, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, obtained in January 2015, and PMP from the Project Management Institute, obtained in August 2007.
