Nathaniel Mirin

Nathaniel Mirin, GISP, currently serves as a Senior GIS Specialist at California Water Service since March 2013, focusing on GIS data and information management. Previously, Nathaniel worked as a GIS Specialist and GIS Associate at Michael Baker Corporation, providing GIS services for various clients including federal and state agencies. Early career experience includes a role as a GIS Data Technician at ACES Simulations for Microsoft Corporation, where Nathaniel supported the development of flight and train simulators through GIS support and data processing. Educationally, Nathaniel holds a BA in Geography with a focus on GIS from the University of Washington, and has also provided technical support as a Technical Assistant in Information Technology at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. Additionally, Nathaniel completed a GIS internship focusing on river channel migration studies, contributing to advanced data analysis and documentation efforts.
