Selçuk Yilmaz

Selçuk Yilmaz is a highly experienced Chief Civil Engineer currently leading the 300 MW CCPP Project in Dakar, Senegal at Çalık Enerji since April 2022. Previously, Yilmaz served as the Project Management and Engineering Chief at Cenk Endüstri Tesisleri İmalat Ve Taahhüt A.Ş from July 2014 to April 2022, where responsibilities included managing international projects in the iron and steel, chemical, and energy sectors, primarily in Ukraine, Russia, and Uzbekistan. Yilmaz's roles encompassed stakeholder communication, technical document submissions, project scheduling, cost control, and vendor management. Earlier experience includes positions as a Civil Project Engineer and an internship at Akcansa. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, a Master's degree in Earthquake and Structural Engineering from Gebze Technical University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Civil Engineering - Construction Management at the same institution. Key achievements include successful static calculations for structural materials in significant projects.
