Varun Talreja

Varun Talreja is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Associate Vice President of Cloud Platform Engineering at Calix since October 2023. Prior to this, Varun held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Apple, focusing on cloud data platforms and Linux endpoint security solutions. Varun's extensive tenure at McAfee, from 2006 to 2022, included roles such as Director of Cloud Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed the Threat Intelligence cloud data platform, and Senior Engineering Manager, leading various foundational technology initiatives. Earlier career positions included Technical Lead at Computer Associates and Member of Technical Staff at iPolicy Networks, as well as Systems Engineer at CMC LTD. Varun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University.
