Nate Reed

Nate Reed is a Concept Engineer at Callaway Golf since February 2019, with a strong background in mechanical engineering, holding both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant, where Nate produced innovative polymeric foam materials for impact mitigation and improved testing equipment while managing undergraduate research projects. Additional internships at TE Connectivity and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute involved design and manufacturing of specialized equipment, conducting failure analysis, and collaborating on exhibit construction. Expertise encompasses foam manufacturing processes, mechanical behavior characterization, design for high-pressure environments, and safety standards compliance.
