Platform Engineering Lead at Callibrity

Dillon Courts has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Dillon currently holds the position of Platform Engineering Lead at Callibrity, where they are responsible for leading a team of software engineers in a large-scale modernization effort. Dillon also served as the Cloud Practice Lead at Callibrity, where they worked closely with product teams to develop and deliver minimum viable products (MVPs).

Prior to their current role, Dillon worked as a Software Architect at Callibrity, where they led teams in various projects including a bank modernization effort, a fintech startup MVP development, and a scalable SaaS product for parking solutions. In these projects, they utilized technologies such as Java Spring Boot, React, GCP, AWS, .NETCORE, ReactJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.

Before joining Callibrity, Dillon worked at Avalinx as a Software Engineer/Project Lead, where they developed and maintained mobile applications written in Objective-C and C# using Unity. Dillon also had an internship at Lutron Electronics, where they worked on a software development team and added new features and fixed bugs in existing GUI software using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL.

Dillon Courts completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering from The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Lakota West High School from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their education, Dillon has obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, and Professional Data Engineer.
