Fredrik Johansson

Fredrik Johansson is the CFO at Calliditas Therapeutics AB. Fredrik has also previously served as the Acting CFO at Wayfinder Systems and the CFO/COO of Birdstep Technology/ Techstep.

Fredrik has over 15 years of experience in the financial and legal aspects of corporate governance, financial management, and legal structure. Fredrik has extensive experience with integrations, both financial and legal, having been responsible for the financial and legal integration of Wayfinder Systems with Vodafone Ltd. Fredrik was also a member of executive management at both Wayfinder Systems and Birdstep Technology/ Techstep, reporting to the CEO and dotted line to the CFO of Vodafone Internet Services.

At Birdstep Technology/ Techstep, Fredrik led the acquisition and reversed listing of a Norwegian telecom B2B company (Teki Solutions) into the Birdstep seat at Oslo Stock Exchange (reversed IPO). Fredrik also led the M&A activities and the sale of all operational Birdstep parts to Smith Micro Inc (Nasdaq US). In addition to managing the group finance function (5 employees and IFRS), legal, IR, and being a member of executive management reporting to CEO, Fredrik also served as the secretary of the BoD.

Fredrik has a proven track record of successful cost-saving initiatives, having reduced OPEX by 30% through cost saving programmes. Fredrik has also led business model development projects and sales

Fredrik Johansson reports to Renee Aguiar-Lucander, CEO. They are on a team with Richard Philipson - CMO, Frank Bringstrup - VP, Regulatory Affairs, and Andrew Udell - VP, North America Commercial.
