James Hoffman, CPA, CGMA

James Hoffman, CPA, CGMA has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. James currently serves as the Head of FP&A and Treasurer at Calliditas Therapeutics AB, where they are responsible for financial management and accountability of two US affiliates. James previously worked at Aquestive Therapeutics as the Director of External Reporting and Technical Accounting, where they ensured adherence to accounting standards and supported SEC filings. Prior to that, they served as the Corporate Controller and led the successful IPO of Aquestive Therapeutics. James also held senior finance roles at Kedrion Biopharma, Capsugel, Shionogi Inc., and Pfizer. James began their career at Arthur Andersen LLP as an auditor, working with SEC registrants in various industries. James has extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, forecasting, and SEC compliance.

James Hoffman, CPA, CGMA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they hold certifications in Lean Six Sigma as a Certified Whitebelt from Vector International.
