Olin Barnett has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Olin started their career in 1991 as a Supply Corps Officer in the US Navy, serving until 1999. Following this, they joined the US Navy Reserve as a Supply Officer from 1999 to 2002. In 2001, they transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, working as a Senior Sales Representative at Eli Lilly and Company until 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Olin worked as a Renal Account Executive at Baxter Healthcare, focusing on marketing and selling peritoneal dialysis medical devices and IV solutions to various healthcare facilities. Olin then moved on to Baxter Healthcare Corporation, where they served as a Therapy Development Specialist Acute Renal from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they marketed and sold the Baxter Renal acute product line to healthcare providers in the hospital ICU/Critical Care setting.

Olin joined Dermira, Inc. in 2018 as a Therapeutic Sales Specialist, responsible for launching and promoting Qbrexza, a product for treating hyperhidrosis, to healthcare professionals in Kentucky. In 2020, they joined AstraZeneca as a Renal Long Term Care Specialist, playing a key role in launching the AZ LTC Sales division and marketing the AstraZeneca renal product portfolio to long-term care healthcare providers and pharmacies.

Most recently, Olin joined Calliditas Therapeutics AB in 2022 as a Rare Disease Account Manager. As one of the first 37 new hires, they played a crucial role in launching Calliditas' first sales team and bringing their product, Tarpeyo, to market for the treatment of IgA nephropathy.

Olin Barnett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services and Naval Science from Oregon State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Following that, they pursued further education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance from 1999 to 2001.
